About:

"My business clients asked for infotainment in their precious free time."

I wanted to create a business book that was beautiful and entertaining. It should connect the personal with the professional. It should present itself like "Instagram on paper", easy to digest but with some real food for thought. I wanted to provide a solid reading list for those who want to continue, - either on their personal journey or on their next expedition into a foreign country.

My goal is to awaken in you a desire for adventure and inspire you to grow beyond what you thought was in reach for you. Supporting your “why” is vital. Communication is vital. The ability to communicate is the difference between life and death in the mountains. Just like in business.

Testimonials

What readers said:

A beautiful story of a personal journey towards self-understanding set against a mountain expedition with lessons that will resonate universally for those trying to understand where they are on their own paths. Susanne, the adventurer, business woman, and human being is engaging and thought provoking.

Susanne's motto in life is to just try and not worry about failure! Whether it's taking a tough exercise class in the middle of rural Tibet, rubbing shoulders with the most senior executives in the Swiss financial district of Zurich, or climbing an 8,000-meter peak in the Himalayas on your 60th birthday. This book is not about climbing. It's a guide to living life to the fullest, with all the ups and downs that come with it.

Couldn’t stop reading!

About me

"When I was three years old, I fell in love with snow. Snowflakes had the ability to lift my spirits considerably and inspired me to lightness and play, which I unfortunately miss in my adult life. I learned to ski in the Swiss canton of Graubünden and became a ski instructor near the Czech border during my university years in Bavaria. Kilimanjaro, treks in Nepal, Elbrus, Aconcagua, Mont Blanc, Cho Oyu followed. In 2018, Henry Todd organized the last Everest expedition of his life, and I had the honor of participating successfully, led by Victor Saunders (becoming the third-oldest woman on the Everest Southside to date). In my business life I went from entrepreneur via top-level positions at IBM, Gartner, Siemens, and Adecco in strategic communication roles back to entrepreneur. Today, my company supports CEOs summiting the next big peak in their careers.
